Patient and Caregiver Day Details

 

Join us for Patient and Caregiver Day on Saturday, April 4th, a special opportunity for patients and caregivers to connect and strengthen our community.

 

The day will kick off with a tour of some of the labs at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research (OICR).

​1. Genomics Lab: tour a clinical lab that does genomic sequencing and creates molecular reports

2. Basic Science/ Novel Discovery Lab: tour a research lab that is part of our Novel Therapies Pipeline. Look at cancer cells under a microscope and see different techniques used in the research

​​Following the tour, enjoy a luncheon at the Chelsea Hotel, where you can share experiences and foster new friendships.

 

After a leisurely walk through downtown, we will conclude the afternoon with an exciting tour of the iconic CN Tower.
