Dr. Samar Attieh

Samar Attieh has a Ph.D. in Experimental Medicine from McGill University (Montreal, Qc), with a background in Public Health (Epidemiology & Biostatistics) and Medical Laboratory Sciences. Samar has more than seven years of broad research experience in data collection, management, analysis, and reporting. She has worked with multidisciplinary research teams, non-profit community-based organizations, and is an active member of the advocacy committee at the Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology (CAPO). As a postdoctoral fellow, Samar will be involved in the implementation of the C3 Hope study.

The Canadian Cholangiocarcinoma Collaborative (C3) is supported by a Canadian Cancer Society Breakthrough Team Grant in partnership with the Canadian Institutes of Health Research. The granting funds for C3 are managed by The Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, which serves as the lead institute for all collaborative operations.
